Supervision

Hello! I remember how overwhelming it felt to step from graduate school to working as a therapist. I am here to support you as you develop your professional identity and skills as an new clinician. My style of supervision is collaborative, supportive, and challenging (in a gentle way). I have been supervising and supporting new professionals for many years. My goal is not to make carbon copies of me, but to help you to embrace your unique style of psychotherapy.

I have extensive experience as a therapist working in a variety of settings. I have worked with diverse clients from ages 2 to 65. I've worked with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked in community mental health, addiction treatment, inpatient, schools, universities, and private practice. My specialty areas are working with the LGBTQ2SAI+ community, neurodivergence, parenting, children with behavioral issues, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I am also knowledgeable about providing culturally sensitive therapy, advocating at the individual, community, and national levels, and infusing social and disability justice into the counseling profession. I work from a variety of theories, including: narrative, collaborative, feminist, and solution-focused.

I'm happy to customize your supervision to fit your needs. We can meet as often as you need to, as long as it follows the requirements of Colorado Law.

Most of my supervision sessions are conducted virtually using Google Meet.

I offer a mixture of individual, dyadic, and group supervision sessions. However, Colorado requires that a majority of supervision hours be individual. I do offer monthly group sessions at a reduced cost to help lighten your financial load.
